Job Description:

• Shift: Monday through Thursday - 4 10's

• Recognizes abnormalities and reports findings to physician and/or nursing staff promptly.
• Identifies and eliminates artifacts during procedures when possible.
• Strictly adheres to isolation and infection control procedures as outlined in the hospital infection control manual.
• Performs 2-D and M-Mode echocardiography studies using parasternal, apical, and subcostal views when applicable.
• Utilizes doppler to aid in diagnosis and to quantitate and localize abnormalities when needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Education:

• Associate [Required]

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]



Work Experience:

• 1+ previous experience [Required]



Licenses and Certifications:

• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) [Required] OR

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) [Required]

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Preferred]
