Summary: Westchester Medical Center currently serves as the sponsor for over 52 ACGME and CODA accredited residency and fellowship programs, and additionally serves as a site for several affiliated programs, sponsored through New York Medical College, and others. Over 650 physicians engaged in graduate medical education are trained annually at Westchester Medical Center. As an Academic University Hospital, Westchester Medical Center also participates in the training of all the medical students at New York Medical College and is also engaged in rotations of medical students from other Medical Schools, and offers training for nurse practitioner students and physician assistants at both Westchester Medical Center and Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.
