Description
Provide administrative assistance to the Duke Raleigh Chief Medical Officer and the Business Manager of the Associated Providers Department in the support of medical providers at Duke Raleigh.
Duties and Responsibilities
Examples of work at this position include:
Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinate related arrangements.
Prioritize and resolve inquiries (phone, e-mail, in person).
Independently prepare documentation, reports, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets at intervals and as requested.
Prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes
Coordinate special projects
Act as a liaison between the CMO and internal/external parties
Assist the Associated Providers Department with routine credentialing and reporting
Explain policy/procedures to providers and other parties.
Collect, compile and analyze data and information.
Clear and monitor procurement card transactions and travel reports through Concur
Ensure that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education: High school education or equivalent.
Experience: Two years of administrative support experience of increasing variety and/or complexity
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification: N/A
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Creatively uses PC, word processing and other office tools, thorough knowledge of department policies, procedures, and goals.
