SALARY:
$18.94 - $23.65 + per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose
The purpose of this position is to coordinate the Department of Preclinical Education's daily responsibilities, which may include program assessment support, curricular calendaring, managing of meetings, maintaining agendas, support of program accreditation and day to day office coordination.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate and manage the processes, documents, and spreadsheets related to the ongoing mission and of the Department of Preclinical Education within the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM).
Collect and assemble information from a variety of internal and external sources in support of the accreditation and assessment needs of the COM.
Support planning and administration of the COM preclinical curriculum and its activities.
Assist in creating, refining, and maintaining processes for the COM
Ensure implementation of institutional policies and practices.
Manage communications through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Support and build positive relations within the team and external parties.
Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda(s).
Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations, etc.)
Prepare paperwork for activities/events and order office and meeting materials/supplies.
Maintain updated records and create reports or proposals.
Support growth and program development.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor, preclinical department deans, and directors.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated experience to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct multiple projects and activities effectively.
Knowledge of program management and development procedures.
High proficiency with the MS Office Suite of products, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
Experience with video conferencing software, such as Skype, Teams, or Zoom.
Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and efficient.
Proven independent decision-making and judgement, creativity in problem-solving; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to synthesize materials and make recommendations to appropriate parties.

Ability to work virtually and collaboratively across two campuses.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited instituion or equivalent combination of education and academic-related experience.
Three (3) years of general clerical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
BSc/BA from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Experience providing administrative support in an academic, healthcare, or academic healthcare environment.
Experience proofing, editing and drafting documents.
Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting.
Knowledge and understanding of accreditation processes and associated documentation.
