Welcome to Centura Health. Flourishing Begins Here:Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. Responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation. Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates needs to leader. Assists the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing and communicating patient, physician and staff needs. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. This is a Monday through Friday position - Hours are generally 08:00 AM - 4:30 PMWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* Six months previous CNA experience, preferred* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills* Previous telemetry experience, preferred* Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience, preferred* Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, preffered * Once hired, successful Completion of ECG Exam will be required annually* Current state CNA license for applicable state of employment* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required* Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferredPhysical Reqirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Minimum Pay:USD $18.00/Hr.Hiring Maximum Pay:USD $27.67/Hr.Your Connected Community:Located in central Denver's historic Washington Park residential neighborhood, Porter Adventist Hospital associates enjoy beautiful surroundings, leading technology, outstanding leadership, and easy access to everything great central Denver has to offer.
