ABOUT THIS OUTSTANDING INTERIM OPPORTUNITY
- 3+ month assignment
- Manages the team credentialing the healthcare systems clinic physicians - 12 FTEs
- Ensures standards are fully met in a manner that is consistent with all accreditation, regulatory and legal standards
- Assists with analyzing credentialing and re-credentialing workflows to ensure efficient and effective alignment of processes and in the development or revision of credentialing-related forms
- Assesses staffing levels, defines position specifications, and maps processes/workflows
- Prepares and analyzes reports and presents information to leaders/key stakeholders in a timely/efficient manner
- Negotiates and develops credentialing office budgets and carries out billing and collection processes
- Reviews and updates the medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations for approval
- Ensures compliance with all government, payer, or accreditation laws, rules, regulations, and policies and all medical staff bylaws and policies

EXPERIENCE | EDUCATION | LICENSURE | CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5+ current years of proven experience in management and direct staff supervision/development within an acute care hospital
- Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) is desirable
- MD Staff software knowledge and optimization experience required
- Experience managing a Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO)
- Working knowledge of industry requirements for NCQA, URAC, and TJC
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and reporting structures with all levels of hospital staff, stakeholders and leadership
- Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
