Vice Chair of Pediatrics with Weill Cornell Medicine
Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group/Queens is seeking an experienced physician leader in Pediatrics to serve as Pediatric Site Chief at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens and Vice Chair of Pediatrics with Weill Cornell Medicine. The position is based in Flushing, Queens, conveniently located a half hour away from Manhattan.
Highlights include:
Serves as the key liaison between Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Pediatrics and the clinical service of Pediatrics at New York-Presbyterian Queens. Reports to the Chair of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.
The site chief is responsible for the clinical leadership of inpatient units, nursery, NICU, pediatric ambulatory care locations; and serves as the Director of Pediatrics Patient Safety
Provide mentorship to all Division Directors: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology and Pulmonology, Allergy and Immunology.
In collaboration with the Chair and NYP leadership, maintains a leadership role with administrative and financial management of the Pediatrics service line including budgeting and resource allocation.
NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens serves patients throughout the borough and beyond. It is situated in a culturally and ethnically diverse area. This 535-bed (65 assigned to Pediatrics) tertiary facility is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, and has been an integral part of the community since 1957 with active services in all medical and surgical disciplines. NYP/Queens is the major teaching site for Pediatric and OB/GYN residents of NewYork/Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition, NYP/Queens faculty participate in the education and training of Weill Cornell Medical College students.

The salary range for this position is $375k to $525k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role. Academic rank at Weill Cornell Medical College will be commensurate with experience and credentials. ?
