Oversee the daily operations of our combined home health and hospice services, including strategic planning, quality outcomes management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a highly visible leader who represents the needs of our teammates, resulting in high levels of engagement and retention.
- Ingrain home-based care services as part of the continuum of care to support the needs of patients, hospitals and ambulatory providers, while promoting the value and utilization of home-based care.
- Aspire to position Roper home care and hospice services as the pre-eminent provider in the service area and preferred provider among payers.
- Partner with other departments, including Human Resources, Marketing/Business Development, Foundation/Grants, Managed Care, ACO/CIN, other post-acute services, and Hospital at Home.
We seek a Director with the following credentials:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of progressive management experience, including direct reports, in home health and/or hospice
- Current driver's license with good driving record
- Excellent working knowledge of management principles, including medical staff relationships, health planning, financial planning and analysis, reimbursement, contract negotiations, human resource development and planning
- Knowledge of DHEC, Joint Commission, and other regulations affecting home health and hospice
- Proficiency in system-wide computer applications
- Working knowledge of clinical and billing systems, which may include HomeCare, HomeBase, Epic, and others
- Strong problem-solving skills
