According to general direction, perform a wide variety of secretarial and clerical duties for the physician practice market
Assist operations team with expense forms, seminars/courses, flight and hotel arrangements.
Coordinate and schedule meetings for individual physicians.
Assist with processing highly sensitive and confidential information.
Compile, type, edit and distribute any correspondence/information according to general directions received from physicians or managers.
Coordinate and complete any special projects as directed.
Assist Administration and Central Billing Office personnel with completion of any forms, documents, etc. required for re-credentialing purposes, medical staff re-appointments, physiciansâ�� professional organizations, etc. by obtaining necessary signatures and documentation.
Order and maintain office supplies for physicians and operations staff.
Operate standard office machines and equipment such as computer, fax machine and photocopier.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Assist with the collection and maintenance of CME credit documentation for all physicians. Track and update credits to assure physicians meet standards for acquiring licenses and hospital staff privileges.
Assist physicians with professional memberships, board certifications, and fellowships.
Secure locations and additional needs (ie lunch, handouts, etc) for meetings or functions.
Perform other work-related duties as required.
Education Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience Required: 2 Years of experience in a clerical administrative setting
