The Human Resources Specialist will serve as the point of contact for Non-Employed Healthcare Providers (NEHP) staff for LA/SETX. Per the CHRISTUS Health Non-Employed Healthcare Providers Policy, responsibilities for the role include facilitating the initial application process, completing onboarding requirements, completing the credentialing requirements, managing the evaluation process and completing the annual re-credential requirements for non-employed healthcare professionals.
Initiate NEHP application process by sending packet to Medical Staff member
Verify all required application documents are submitted by Medical Staff member
Coordinate onboarding process such as Background Screening, Occupational Health clearance and primary source verification of license and certifications as required.
Maintain Medical Staff credentialing database
Maintain HR file for NEHP staff in accordance with HR Policies & Procedures
Manage the annual credentialing process in accordance with HR Policies & Procedures
Coordinate and collaborate with ministry designated point of contact to facilitate resolution of any issues
Provide office support to local HR Office
Complete other duties as assigned
Associateâ€™s degree or equivalent training and experience preferred
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data management tools
Strong organizational, time & priority management skills
