This is a great opportunity to be a part of our dynamic healthcare team at Suburban Hospital, a Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, as the Director of Medical Staff Services.
As the Director of Medical Staff Services, you will:
Directs the performance of medical staff administration to include credentialing, privileging, focused and ongoing physician performance metrics and evaluations
Collaborates at the highest level with daily activities of Medical Staff leadership to include peer review, Physician Leadership Council, Medical Executive Committee meetings, and medical staff leadership orientation and retreats.
Responsible for accreditation and compliance activities to include The Joint Commission, CMS, and other specified regulatory entities
Directs the CME programs for medical staff with responsibility for Med Chi accreditation and program growth and development
Provides oversight of GME programs sponsored at the facility, including credentialing of rotating residents and fellows
Responsible for Medical Staff Administration budget and Medical Staff Leadership contracts
In order to be the Director of Medical Staff Services, we’ll need you to have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management (or other similar healthcare degree) is required.
5+ years' Medical Staff Office experience as a Supervisor or Manager is required
CPCS or CPMSM certification is required
Experience managing people and processes
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Sign-on bonus to assist with relocation and housing for 30 days
