As a transporter, you will work at Banner University Medical Center, which is a Magnet facility, Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, and Designated Stroke Center. As a Transport staff member, you must be alert to the condition of the patient being transported, while recognizing changes in condition. You must be prepared to act quickly and communicate any changes to nursing staff. Transport staff assist with patient handling and lifting by using appropriate equipment and lift techniques. You will also transport materials including, but not limited to blood products and lab specimens. To be considered for this position, you must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification card from one of the following associations: American Heart Association-AHA; American Safety and Health Institute-ASHI; Red Cross. We have day, evening, and nigh shifts available at this time. We also have full time and part time roles available. Weekend rotations are required in this role. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable.
