HIM Tech - Medical Records

Summary:

Collect and image all medical records following dates of service, analyze medical records for documentation deficiencies, collect and complete birth certificate information when necessary, monitors various dictation systems to address and resolve issues with dictated reports when necessary, assist physicians with completing medical records and compile complete and accurate lists of physicians with delinquent medical records. 

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice was built in 1999 to serve the healthcare needs of people in Alice and the surrounding communities. Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent Attain and maintain bi-yearly TER training and yearly AOP training for Birth Registrars (BR)
• Minimum two years medical records experience in a physician's office or other out patient health care facility.  
• May be acquired and maintained after hire when provided by the State for BR.
