Director, Medical Staff Services

The Medical Staff Services Director is responsible for directing activities of the Medical Staff Services (MSS) office including but not limited to developing policies and procedures for the department, providing appointment and privileging recommendations to the Board of Directors, and maintaining regulatory compliance of MSS operations.  The Director works closely with the various customers of the MSS including the new and existing members of the medical staff, Medical Staff Leadership, the HCS Leaders,a the Chief Medical Officer, or designee, as it relates to medical staff affairs.  This position coordinates all aspects of the medical staff operations and is pivotal to the success of the medical governance process.  The Medical Staff Services Director helps coordinante all credentialing and re-credentialing activities of the Medical Staff Officer which contributes to the process of ensuing the most competent and highest quality medical staff for the organization.
