This position will be responsible for high-volume, detailed work related to provider and facility credentialing. The position will also provide occasional administrative support to the FHCP Quality Management/Performance Improvement Department, including the administrator and department staff.
Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
3-5 years in a professional office setting
Previous credentialing or medical staff office experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, primarily Excel, Word and Outlook
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional
Strong presentation skills using web conferencing software (ex. Zoom, WebEx)
Familiarity with credentialing systems preferred (ex. MD Staff, CAQH ProView)
Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail/accuracy
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including physicians
Research skills and the ability to analyze, interpret and make recommendations from findings
Ability to adapt to constant change and still meet deadlines
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Customer service oriented
High level of professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to use common office equipment such as scanner, fax machine, multi-line phone, conferencing hardware
