Responsible for UH system wide Medical Staff Services and Credentialing administration for all wholly owned hospital, ASCs, PCVO and UHCVO, including budget and staff. Responsible for the Enterprise information systems, MSOW source for physician data, MSD and MDIS, maintain credentialing website. Strategic leadership for the development of medical staff system integration strategies. Guide the development of the overall leadership structure and strategic plan, create goals and plans for quality and financial management of the medical staff, credentialing departments system wide. Identify, develop and implement a strategy and long term vision for increasing efficiency of the departments with a defined focus on workflow optimization. Focus on aligning and engaging the systems employed and non employed medical staff in effort to deliver the highest standard of medical care. Coordinate on going education for system wide medical staff leaders. Responsible for overseeing all Medical Staff and Allied Health Professional credentialing application in accordance with hospitals bylaws, policies and procedures, state and federal law.
Bachelor’s Degree requires, Master Degree preferred. CPMSM or CPCS, NAMSS certified. 10 years experience.
