We are currently seeking a Manager – Credentialing to oversee and supervise employees which include training, promotion, performance evaluation, training, etc.
Prepare and submit recommendations regarding appointments and reappointments to the Physician Enterprise committees
Take an active role in improvement process, anticipate problems, make suggestions, and independently resolve minor obstacles
Maintain integrity of Credentialing database, by entering new providers and updating provider and practice information
Complete monthly provider grid reports in a timely manner
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with healthcare providers, payors, coworkers, CBO and provider office staff
Generate letters to providers/Practice Managers in advance of documents expiration dates to request copies of current documents. (e.g. license, CDS, DEA, malpractice insurance certificates)
Meet regularly with the Reimbursement Administrator to discuss operational issues
Five-seven years of supervisory experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel Spreadsheets
