Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Staff Services Manager to lead our growing team located in Richland, Washington! Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Management. Exempt. As the Medical Staff Services Manager you will be responsible for the direction and oversight of the Medical Staff Services Department. This includes credentialing and re-credentialing, planning, organizing, leading, implementing, monitoring and evaluating department functions at the administrative level including day to day fiscal management, Medical Staff meeting management and the flow of information from Medical Staff committees through the Medical Executive Committee to the Board of Directors. This position acts as a resource to Medical Staff regarding Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations and policies. This position provides leadership and organizes resources to enable the institution to achieve compliance with accreditation standards related to the Medical Staff. You will also ensure that the activities of the Medical Staff Services Department are conducted in a manner consistent with accreditation standards, the mission of Kadlec Regional Medical Center, and established medical center policies and procedures. You will work closely with Medical Staff leaders, hospital Administration and legal council on selected Medical Staff issues. This position is accountable to the Chief Medical Officer. Medical Staff Services Manager Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution, or in progress and completed within 5 years from date of hire into the position required, or equivalent education/experience required. Equivalent years of experience, including experience in a management position in the area of specialty.
- 5 years management/supervisory experience in Medical Staff Services required.
- Some experience in Performance Improvement activities, tools and techniques required.
- Affiliation with the National Association Medical Staff Services and the Washington Association Medical Staff Services required.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
- Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMS) by the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.
