Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 522-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprised of Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. Penrose Hospital serves as the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services with 364-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and physical rehabilitation. The Project Manager works closely with the various taskforces and committees to facilitate all aspects of project management and plan development for strategic and operational initiatives as assigned. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all key stakeholders as necessary regarding status and deliverables within the project plan. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Healthcare or related field
5 years' experience in healthcare
Project management experience with a healthcare system
Must have strong computer skills to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook Must be organized, detail oriented and a self-starter Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Possesses knowledge of hospital operations
