Advanced ICU Care (www.advancedicucare.com), a rapidly-growing telemedicine company, is actively seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as aMSO Coordinator. This positioncoordinates the Medical Staff andAdvanced Practice Professionals’ credentialing and re-credentialing function within the Medical Staff Office. This individual will work from our office in St. Louis, MO.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Facilitates and ensures timeliness of all aspects of credentialing including appointment, reappointment, monitoring and privileging for Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Professional staff
Processes initial credentialing/re-credentialing applications of Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Professional staff.
Obtains licensures, certificates, and insurance certificates at time of appointment, reappointment, expiration, or upon request for additional privileges.
Processes and distributes appropriate correspondence to internal and external customers.
Assist Medical Staff committees with development of privilege criteria, privilege delineations, and other documents necessary for an effective credentialing process.
Maintains a working knowledge of Joint Commission, State and Federal regulations and standards related to the Medical Staff organization. Ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies
Requirements for this position are:
Associate’s degree from a two year accredited college in Business or related field and related work experience; or three years credentialing experience in a healthcare setting required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, virtual meeting tools and services, and internet navigation required.
Experience in executive correspondence preparation and report writing within a health care environment preferred.
In addition, this position requires analytical skills to exercise high attention to detail and accuracy, professional integrity, strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple timelines. The coordinator needs to use critical thinking skills and good judgement and discretion in addition to handling items in a professional manner.
