What You Will Do: Corporate management position, reports directly to the Vice President of Operations, Winchester Medical Center. The position will have operational and programmatic responsibilities throughout Valley Health System. Operational duties will include budget and direct line authority for Radiation Oncology, Tumor Registry, and other departments as determined appropriate. Programmatic duties will include working with physicians and key stakeholders to develop a multi-year plan that as implemented will improve access to existing and future services, define and implement innovations that will further care offerings locally and throughout region, increase quality of outcomes and patient experience, foster economic sustainability, as well as foster synergy among the radiation, medical, surgical, and interventional aspects of oncology care delivery. In addition, duties will include sustaining American College of Surgeon (ACOS) credentialing as well as other recognitions that are sought that reinforce our commitment to provide high-quality cancer diagnosis, treatment, and support. The position will work closely with physicians who have diverse backgrounds and representing many of the sub-specialties within surgery and medicine. What You Will Bring: Education Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Science required Experience - 5-10 years of oncology care delivery and/or program development required
- Prefer integrated health system level experience in oncology
- Prefer National Institute of Health (NIH) background
- Prefer National Cancer Center Clinical Affiliation
- Prefer Applied Research background
Qualifications - History of Longevity with Organizations
- Oncology National Accreditation experience required
- Physician Alignment Skills & Background highly preferred
- Program development, innovation throughout a health system required
- Proven Staff and MD Engagement background required
- Track record of efficiency and appropriate cost reduction required
- Excellent Communication skills
- Understanding of relevant federal and state regulatory laws
